December 2009 Snowstorm

Well, Philadelphia took the brunt of the storm. We had about a foot of snow fall here in our neighborhood. I have to say it was pretty. Driving wasn't too bad either. At the start of the snow season, the road crews pretty much stay on top of everything. It's when the snowstorms keep coming and the winter drags out that they soon start rationing their salt and counting their overtime, and some roads are left undone.

    oh wow it looks so pretty!!! we got a single layer on the ground saturday night, it melted by mid day yesterday. i'm not a fan of driving in it, but its fun to play in & makes the holidays feel a little more festive!

    I'm not a fan of snow. Probably because I slip more times then I like. And our city is the same, ration the plows. Glad it wasn't too bad for you. Especially driving. Looks pretty though. Love snow from a warm house.
