  2. Thank you for sharing this wonderful pattern. It's a more "modern" sunflower than most I've seen. My daughter will love it for her sunflower kitchen! chyrl

  6. I was just visiting my sister in Pa. She is restricted in movement thanks to an auto accident she suffered in September 2011. She broke her back and required rods, screws and who know what else and shattered her right wrist and arm and required rods and screws there. She has been in severe pain. I hadn't been up to see her earlier due to the fact that I had fractured my left foot, then 3 weeks later in mid September, I fell and I shattered my right ankle/foot and lower leg. I had to wait 3 weeks for some of the swelling to go down, so I could get my surgery, to get my rods and screws in. Made it through surgery, then 3 days after my surgery I suffered 3 witnessed Grand-Mal seizures and was life flighted, from my hometown of Jacksonville, NC to the medical center in Greenville, NC, oh I was on a ventilator and my survival was most certainly in question. The reason I am laying this groundwork is to tell you how wonderful it was to see my sister using your pattern of the Sunflower Dishcloth and Coaster patterns!! They are the neatest!!! Man as soon as I could get to good old Wal-Mart I got the yarn and started to make them myself. They are as cute as they can be, easy to make up and something that will be great to give as gifts this summer. But thank you for your site. I know my sister was getting depressed and I am sure I was, so this was something we could do together and it is fun!!! And Jodi could froget for a few seconds about her pain when she working on your patterns. Those patterns have given her somthing to accomplish. THANK YOU SO MUCH MUCH .......Pam Rhoads

  8. I love love love this pattern! For my wedding shower favors, my mom and I (mostly my mom) made about 100 of the coaster size, rolled them, and put them in tiny flower pots...everybody LOVED them! I am currently making some up in purples to put in a basket for a silent auction that will benefit the Lupus foundation. Thank you so much for sharing!!

  11. The small ones also make good tawashi's. My friend has a sunflower kitchen and I made some of both the big and little ones for her. She loves them. Thanks!

  12. Love this pattern! I'm going to use it to make patches for my vintage VW Beetle's seats. I want a patch method that stays true to it's hippie heritage. Thank you!
